Welcome to Mel’s Crocheted Creations — where playful, personality-filled crochet patterns are designed with real makers in mind.

I’ve been crocheting for over 40 years, ever since I picked up my first hook at 8 years old. What started as making gifts for family and friends grew into selling finished pieces, designing newborn props, and even a chapter as a newborn photographer.

As a mom and longtime in-home daycare provider, creativity has always been part of my everyday life. The kids around me — my own and those I’ve cared for — have been a huge inspiration behind so many of my designs.

In 2022, I started designing my own patterns… and completely fell in love with it.

Today, I focus on creating no-sew and low-sew crochet patterns that are:

• Full of personality
• Perfect for markets, gifts, or just because

My designs are made to help you create pieces that people instantly connect with — the kind that make someone stop, smile, and have to have it.

My first bestseller, Tank the Turtle, gave me the confidence to keep going — and now I’m so excited to share even more designs with you.
